Jonathan Kellerman’s Mystery: An Alex Delaware Novel

Written by on September 13, 2012 in Mystery Book of the Month with 0 Comments

Award-winning author Jonathan Kellerman has done it again with Alex Delaware, his psychologist crime solver. Mystery is his latest, just published in April. Set in Los Angeles, as usual for his Alex Delaware series and again involving friend Robin and LA police detective Milo Sturgis, our hero unravels the brutal murder of a high-end call girl.

In this case, Alex and Robin may have been the last people to see her alive, other than her killers, that is. And yes I said killers plural. She has been shot with two bullets from two different guns seemingly at the same time.

The Alex Delaware series has a huge fan following, but also some who think Kellerman’s series is boring. I happen to be one of those fans. For me, the mystery is intriguing, the clues are well laid out and the characters interesting. A well-written mystery novel is never boring to me. Mystery is one of those well-written novels.

Kellerman’s stories are not cozy reads. His plot is more involved than some others. If you are looking for an easy read mystery story, try Desperate Housedogs or Murder Most Maine. If you are looking for something more involved, Mystery is a great choice. Happy reading to you all.
